How to Install D.I.Y. Fly and Insect Window Screens
• Corner keys are used to fix the frame of the fly screens together
• Lay the mesh over the back of the frame
• Place the rubber spline into the groove on the back of the frame to hold the mesh
in place
• The finished screen is then placed on hinges and closed in place with turn screws
Our DIY insect screens are a "Do it yourself" screen kit for the
domestic user.
All instructions and component parts are included to ensure the easy construction
of a sturdy durable insect screen that can be hinged or held in place with simple
turn buttons. The D.I.Y. insect screens can be fitted internally
or externally and protects against flies, bees, wasps, midges and other flying insects.
Minimal D I Y tools are required and the flyscreens have a generous
maximum size of 1200mm x 1200mm ensuring coverage of most domestic windows.
