Our unique interior PVC crash doors (also known as impact doors) are the ideal solution for withstanding the rigours of daily use where optimum traffic flow is needed. A crash door is also useful for allowing fast access to fork trucks, vehicles or personnel without the need for stopping to open or close doors.

This cost effective crash door is available in single or double leaf configuration, it has been specifically designed to give the installer complete control over the finished product. Our impact doors are suitable for pedestrian, hand trolley and forklift access.

The crash doors open with a minimal amount of force and close automatically. The polished stainless steel hinges provide a corrosion free, spring loaded mounting system which supports the clear panels.

Safety Screens PVC crash doors are designed for a quick and trouble free installation, therefore ensuring a very cost effective and trouble free product from start to finish. The PVC sheet can be easily replaced if it becomes damaged.

Specifications

• Extruded anodised aluminium frame - Mill finished as standard but can be powder coated to RAL making it very tough but remaining lighweight
• Double action spring hinge - UK designed and engineered from CS70, floor mounted to ensure faster action and accurate closure. The hinge also has 2 x high tensile steel grub screws for quick, simple tensioning and adjustment
• Base plates and top plates are UK manufactured from zinc plated mild steel
• Mitred joint with steel corner key for added strength
• Brush strip to ensure an excellent seal
• Large stainless steel corner plate for added strength
• Clear PVC panels - Available in both 5mm and 7mm thickness
• Also available as 50/50 and coloured panel doors. These will be a black or grey PVC base panel, the coloured PVC is also 5mm or 7mm thickness
